Why does Li feel like there is little point in him attending school?

Li doesn't think he should go to school because he thinks he will be the odd one out from his family because they didn't wan't to go to school. He also doesn't want to his carefree days and now he has to follow the rules.

Li felt like there was a little point of him to go to school because going to school would cost our family money which could have gone towards food or other needs. Anyway why to peasants need to be smart i'm gonna work in the fields anyway.

Li feels like there is no point attending school because he feels like he is the odd one out, everyone else in his family doesn't want to go to school. his parent have to pay as well. Also he was getting bad marks as well.

Why does Li feel like there is little point in him attending school?

Li's family work for the money and food on their one-twentyths of an acre, Li doesen't realise that he needs to go to school, he ashumes that he will grow up working in the fields.

Li think's there is little point him going to school because deep down he thinks there is no use for a peasant boy to have an education if he was destined to work in the fields anyway. He was apprehensive about going to school, because it was the end of his carefree days and he has to wear shoes and conform to the rules of the school.

Li doesn't think that he needed to go to school because he can only go to school for about half day because there wasn't enough class room there for you to stay for a whole day without being disturbed. Going to school isn't much of a use for a peasant boy who have a almost certain future of working in the field.

Li feels there is a little point of attending school because for him, school meant the end of his carefree days. It meant that he had to wear shoes and conform to rules. He thought that there would be no reason attending school for a person who is going to be the peasant working in the field. He also felt unpleasant school help his family’s food shortages.
