How did Mao's new regime "change the way people died"?

The government had started forcing people to cremate the dead as it wasn't easy to obtain permission for a traditional burial. This was considered old and an unhealthy tradition. Nana's burial was the last burial allowed in their village.

Question One Empty how did chairman Mao affect peoples deaths?

Post  William Rankin Thu Jul 28, 2011 2:57 pm

Chairman Mao changed the way that people died by making traditional funerals were they would use a special coffin and would bury her with pictures of people, money and food to make sure that she has all those things in her second life but chairman Mao made it illegal to have things like that when you died.

Chairman Mao’s new regime not only changed the way we lived, it also changed the way we died. The tradition funeral used to be done by burying the dead body with money and food. Etc to belive in that a person who are dead can have a new life with all the good stuffs and live well however chairman Mao made it illegal to do it like that

Chairman Mao's regime changed the way people live or died. This means that Chairman Mao has that much power to change China, even make people live or die.

Mao changed the way people died to make them be cremated instead of a traditional burial like Li's Nana. Li's Nana was the last traditional burial in there town.

Mao can change how u live and Mao can say how u die. If a chairman mao's picture on anything is being "mistreated". The Communists execute you straight away.

Mao's regime is to change the way people died, he did this by stopping the traditional way of funerals by not letting using a different coffin as usual and not letting them be buried with there items. he also decided weather someone died or lived.u

cairman mao's regime didn't change the way that people died but the way that they were buired the original way that they were buired was that they lay in a coffin for three days and and there distant relatives would come and pay there respects and then when they three days were up the men would walk to the grave carring the coffine and she would be buired while the women stade at the house she would be buired and the men would come back. this all changed when caiman mao's regime came in people would be cramated.
