Why do the students go and live with the peasants for a few weeks. Why does Li agree this is a good idea?

The students go live with the peasents for a few weeks because they are learning how to do work and live like the peasants do. Li thinks this is a good idea because all of the students that come from the city won't have any idea what the living conditions are like out here and where their food comes from.

The students of the ballet school have to live with peasants for a few weeks because they had to live like them and keep up there dance standards and at the end of it they would have to do a performance. Li thought it was good idea because city people had to see where there food came from and how hard it is compared to city life.

The students at the dance acadamy go and live with some peasents for a few weeks, so that they would have a good idea and have had a douce of living like a peasent, which would include: living in their horible conditions, eating bad food, and possible farmimg for food, just like Li Cunxin's family.

The students at the ballet school have to live with the peasants for a few weeks because they wanted to use it as a reminder that if you dont work hard u will end up as a peasant, a lot of the kids couldn't cope with the work and food they had.

The students had to go live with the peasants for few weeks because Chairman Mao thought if the kids from cities didn't come to the commune and work with the peasants, they wouldn't know where the food came from and would waste them. Li thought it was a good idea because he was used to the peasant living style and he missed the commune.

Li agrees this is a good idea for the others so they can understand what the peasants went through surviving with a empty stomach all the time.
